Scott Southwick of Georgia Pacific-Savannah River Mill won the week 2 drawing from the 2012 United Way weekly prize giveaway.

Southwick was surprised by the United Way Prize Patrol with the news that he had won the Georgia Southern prize package consisting of two season tickets for the 2012 Georgia Southern football season and tickets to multiple Georgia Southern University events.  The prize is valued at over $1,000. Southwick became eligible for the drawing by attending the United Way employee campaign at Georgia Pacific a couple of weeks ago.

The United Way of the Coastal Empire’s 2012 fundraising will continue through Nov. 16.  Each week during the campaign a prize drawing is held.  Contact Bonnie Dixon at United Way-Effingham, 826-5300, if you are interested in having a United Way employee campaign at your place of business.
