Being out of state during the annual St. Baldrick’s Day shaving in Savannah’s City Market did not deter Effingham County’s Barbara Moss-Hogan from participating later in the week.

Moss-Hogan got her head shaved as part of her commitment to Hospice Savannah’s Team Full Baldies. Homecare volunteer Ruth James of Rincon shaved Moss-Hogan’s head at Ashlynn’s Family Hair Care so Barbara could become an official member of the team.

Full Baldies was comprised of fellow bereavement counselor Betsy Kammerud, community outreach coordinator Sarah Copeland, Reiki massage therapist Trina Pinkney and social worker Maria Rainey and raised $3,045 for childhood cancer research.
