Early voting begins Monday

Advance and early voting for the May 20 primary and nonpartisan elections begins Monday morning.

Advanced in-person voting will be conducted through May 16 at the Board of Elections and Registration Office, 284 Highway 119 in Springfield, and at the old Marlow Elementary School, 4752 Highway 17 South outside of Guyton.

For 21 days prior to a primary or general election or as soon as practicable for a runoff, voters can cast their ballot in person at either of the early voting locations during regular business hours.  

Both locations will be open for voting on the second Saturday prior to each general primary and general election from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  Voters must complete an application form and provide one of the six forms of acceptable ID.
