School system honors retirees

The Effingham County School System hosted a reception Wednesday for 25 retiring employees.

Recognized were:

Guyton Elementary – Julian Bolen

Rincon Elementary – Pat Dickey

Sand Hill Elementary – Cheryl Brinson and Catherine Gardner

South Effingham Elementary – Joann Hathaway, Margaret Helmly, Paul Petit and Lisa Repasy

Springfield Elementary – Elizabeth Jeffers

Ebenezer Middle – Marcia Long and Angie Murphey

Effingham County Middle – Jerald Williams

South Effingham Middle – Connie Carter

Effingham County High – Lugenia Healy, Karen Waltz, Freddie Waltz and Francina Warner

South Effingham High – Jane Dolan and Angela Wood

Tranportation – Mabel Brown, Janie Jackson and Bobby Rush

Food Service – Edna Foskey, Mable Gibbons and Rosanna Rawls
