The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an Eden man after finding drugs at his home Thursday morning.

Brian Butler, 33, of Eden is wanted following a search at his residence in the 100 block of Shady Oaks Lane. The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Suppression Unit “discovered a large amount of crack cocaine and marijuana,” according to ECSO spokesman Detective David Ehsanipoor.

“Butler, who is a repeat offender, is currently on probation stemming from a 2012 arrest by Effingham County deputies, where he was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and parole violation,” Ehsanipoor said.

Anyone with information on Butler’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 754-3449.
