Two Effingham students earn degrees from Emory

ATLANTA — Two students from Effingham County received degrees from Emory University in Atlanta, at its 169th commencement ceremony.

Cleothia Alford of Rincon received an associate of arts from Oxford College of Emory University on May 10.

Emily Heidt of Guyton received a master of business administration from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University on May 12.

Emory University encompasses nine academic divisions as well as the Michael C. Carlos Museum, The Carter Center, the Yerkes National Primate Research Center and Emory Healthcare, Georgia’s largest and most comprehensive health care system.
