POSTED: May 1, 2008 5:00 a.m.

ATLANTA — The Georgia Center for Nonprofits is excited to announce its 17th Annual Georgia Nonprofit Summit to be held May 5-6 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. The theme this year is “Vision: The Power to Transform.”

The summit is the largest gathering of nonprofit professionals in the Southeast. Each year hundreds of leaders from the corporate, government, academic and nonprofit arenas come together to address and exchange ideas on the top issues concerning the nonprofit community.

This highly anticipated event attracts professionals looking to network with others interested in the public sector. The Georgia Nonprofit Summit offers over two dozen workshops lead by industry experts and national thought leaders covering a diverse array of topics.

This year’s summit will also feature two greatly anticipated events: the annual Revolutions Awards and the Evelyn G. Ullman Award. These highly acclaimed awards acknowledge and reward outstanding nonprofit and philanthropic leaders within the community.

In addition, the Summit Exhibit Hall will feature a host of new products and services, as well as, being the showcase for the complimentary consulting clinics and funder roundtables — which are perennial conference favorites with all of the attendees.
