SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College proudly announces Jason Williams as the college’s new executive director of information technology.

Williams has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration both from Georgia Southern University and has worked in the field for more than seven years.

“We’re excited to have Jason as part of the team,” said Carol Paulk, dean of academic support for Savannah Technical College.  “He’s going to make an excellent addition to the staff and to the division.”

Williams, a Georgia native, will be responsible for the information technology resources of the college, including the four campuses; Savannah, Liberty, Effingham and Crossroads.   His goal is to maximize what is already available on campus and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all technologies, both in and out of the classrooms.

“In the 21st century, information technology is crucial in business. Savannah Technical College students, faculty and staff deserve the best IT resources possible, enabling them to learn, teach and do their jobs more effectively. It is my job to make sure they get what they need,” explained Williams.
