Beating the heat

Campers at the Effingham County High School baseball team’s camp ended their four days of instruction and competition with the highly-anticipated and wet ritual of sliding practice on Thursday’s final day of the camp. Campers ended their four days just before the weekend heat wave set in, but the sliding drills were a welcome cool respite anyway.
