Double Dose gymnasts have strong showing at AAU Age Group Nationals

Gymnasts from Double Dose Gymnastics posted top-10 finishes in the AAU National Championships, held at the Savannah Civic Center from June 24-28.

Saylor Callaway finished first in the all-around in L-3 with a total of 37.775. She had scores of 9.35 on the vault, 9.8 on the bars, 9.375 on the beam and 9.25 on floor exercises.

Also competing in L-3, Samantha Groover finished second in the all-around with a 36.925 score. She scored 9.1 on the vault, 9.5 on bars, 9.325 on the beam and 9.0 on floor exercises. Christian Reagin was fourth at 35.925, scoring 9.075 on vault, 9.45 on bars, 8.625 on beam and 8.775 on floor.

Callie Kanoy was fifth at 36.05, with a 9.575 on the vault, 9.575 on the bars, 8.225 on the beam and 8.675 on the floor.

Kannette King scored a 37.375 after a 9.3 on the vault, 9.625 on the bars, 9.25 on the beam and 9.2 on the floor. Katie Grace Bennett had an all-around score of 37.125 after a 9.475 on the vault, a 9.35 on the bars, a 9.15 on the beam and a 9.15 on floor exercises.

Rheanna Lanier was third in L-4 with an all-around total of 36.075 after a 9.65 on the vault, a 7.5 on the bars, a 9.55 on the beam and an 8.775 on the floor.

In Level MO, Alexsis Rutledge was 10th in her age division with a 35.375 all-around total. She had an 8.75 on the vault, an 8.7 on the bars, an 8.325 on the beam and a 9.6 on floor exercises.

Jill Conway was fourth in Level MO in her age bracket, finishing with a 36.375 total. She had an 8.8 on the vault, a 9.1 on the vault, a 9.225 on the beam and a 9.25 on floor exercises.

Ashley Clay was seventh with a 35.475 total in her age group. She had an 8.85 on the vault, a 9.225 on the bars, an 8.15 on the beam and a 9.25 on floor exercises.

Baylee Barnard was seventh in her L-8 age group at 33.925. She scored an 8.15 on the vault, a 7.45 on the bars, an 8.85 on the beam and a 9.475 on the floor.

Baylee Barnard was seventh in her L-8 age group at 33.925. She scored an 8.15 on the vault, a 7.45 on the bars, an 8.85 on the beam and a 9.475 on the floor.
