Effingham County High School pre-kindergarten starts off the school year with a focus on literacy. Among other literacy based activities in the classroom there have been invited guest readers who came to read to pre-k students. Liz Allen, pre-k teacher, said literacy will remain a huge focus for the remainder of the school year and for the rest of these little ones’ lives.
