The annual Effingham Shopping Tour, sponsored by the Effingham Chamber of Commerce, will take place from Dec. 5-11.
The shopping tour will begin in Springfield at 3 p.m. on Dec. and end that night at 9 p.m.
The chamber is joining forces with the Christmas in Effingham Committee and the Historic Effingham Society for “Olde Effingham Christmas.” At 6 p.m., the festivities will move to the Living History Site to light the Christmas tree and begin the “Olde Effingham Christmas” service. The museum will be open at 5:30 p.m. and admission will be free.
The shopping tour will end Dec. 11 in Rincon.
