Norma Jean Morgan, who for years served as the CEO of Effingham Health System, has found a new place to call home and a new career path to travel as she is now the Deputy Chief of Healthcare Facilities for the Georgia Department of Community Health in Atlanta.

A Springfield man was shot multiple times Wednesday morning following an altercation, but his wounds are considered non-life threatening, at this time, said Sgt. Don White with the Effingham County Sheriff's Office.
