State jobless rate rises to 7.4 percent for June

ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Georgia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June was 7.4 percent, up two-tenths of a percentage point from 7.2 percent in May. The rate in June of last year was 8.4 percent.
