STC to offer Gulfstream information sessions

State jobless rate hits 9.3 percent for July
ATLANTA-The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Georgia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased to 9.3 percent in July, up three-tenths of a percentage point from 9.0 percent in June. The jobless rate was 10 percent in July a year ago.

ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that the preliminary unemployment rate in metro Savannah rose to 9.1 percent in June, up seven-tenths of a percentage point from 8.4 percent in May. The rate was 9.6 percent in June 2011.
