Georgia Air National Guardsman Samantha Pleasant of Hinesville was recently promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in the 117th Air Control Squadron of the Georgia Air National Guard. Pleasant is a three-year surveillance and identification technician with the Hunter AAF-based Air National Guard unit.
