GSP post investigated 11 wrecks during June

State troopers from the Rincon post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated 11 traffic crashes in June in Effingham County. Sgt. 1st Class Chad Riner said the traffic crashes resulted in 12 injuries and no traffic deaths.

Scouts, church present haunted trail

Boy Scouts Troop 691, Girl Scout Troop 30078 and Zion Lutheran Church are teaming to create the Haunted Trail on the nature trail and surrounding areas in the Zion Lutheran Park.
