Jackson completes master’s

Effingham County Health Department Environmental Health Specialist II Tiffany Maeno Jackson recently earned her master's degree in public health with a concentration in environmental health sciences. Jackson received her degree from the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University.

Effingham Orchestra to hold ‘Our Favorites’ concert on Sept. 23

Effingham Community Orchestra director Andrea Huff has announced that the orchestra will present its second annual "Our Favorites Concert" on Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. The concert will be held at the Effingham County Recreation and Parks Department gymnasium, 808 Highway 119 South in Springfield.
