Kessler crowned Ms. Effingham Care Center

On March 29 more than 160 family members, residents, visitors and staff attended the Ms. ECC pageant anticipating who will be crowned the queen. After the votes were tallied, Willene Kessler was crowned Ms. Effingham Care Center 2008. A reception following the pageant was held in honor of the nine ladies who participated in the pageant.

Barrow to host rebate, tax filing workshop

On Monday, U.S. Rep John Barrow (D-Savannah) will host a workshop to help folks in the area fill out the forms they need to submit in order to receive their tax rebate checks, and to provide some last minute tax advice. Boy Scouts visit state Capitol

Cheer South All-Stars competition season comes to a bittersweet end in Savannah

Victim Witness visits Exchange Club

Dr. David Tribble, president of Bethesda Academy, spoke to the Rotary Club of Effingham County. Bethesda is a home and school for boys founded in 1740 in Savannah. Dr. Tribble spoke on "Why Bethesda Matters Now" by sharing how their values-based program continues to substantially impact the futures of young men.
