Rincon students complete Darton nursing
ALBANY-The following students from the Rincon area graduated this fall from the Darton College Nursing Program with Associate of Science degrees: Amy Chaplin, Amanda Buckholts, Kelly Hyman, and Dana Shores. They were recognized during the traditional Nursing Pinning Ceremony and are now eligible to take the licensing examination to become registered nurses.

The parents and grandparents of Richard Harvey Oliver Jr. announce he has graduated from boot camp at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Depot at Parris Island, S.C., and Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, N.C. Oliver, a 2005 graduate of South Effingham High School, will continue his education in aviation traffic control electronics at Naval Air Station Pensacola.
