A prayer shawl of many colors

The residents at Effingham Care Facility are pictured with one of their two completed prayer shawls. The residents meet every Tuesday to crochet. The completed shawls are given to the Rincon United Methodist Church Prayer Shawl Ministry and then given to individuals in need. A special thanks goes to out to Bobby Exley, Beth Holland and Judy Plummer for all of their hard work to make this a success.

Residents of Effingham, Chatham and Screven counties are encouraged to head to the first rehearsal Feb. 3 from 7-9 p.m. in the Springfield United Methodist Church sanctuary.
