Chief Magistrate Judge of Effingham County Scott Hinson spoke recently to the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club. Judge Hinson gave an overview of some of the Magistrate Court's jurisdictions, which include small claims, minor and felony criminal offenses, good behavior warrants, and granting bails.
