Effingham County Health Department Environmental Health Specialist II Tiffany Maeno Jackson recently earned her master's degree in public health with a concentration in environmental health sciences. Jackson received her degree from the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University.

The 30th Annual Tour of Homes in historic Guyton takes place on Tuesday, featuring home and church tours, trolley rides, music and food. Advance tickets to tour the homes can be purchased at Gregory's Floral Designs and Gift Shoppe and at Reiser and Reiser CPA in Guyton.
