Cub Scout Pack 295 is growing

Rick Seagroves, Cubmaster of Pack 295 presided over a full house at a meeting of Cub Scouts. More than 100 people were packed inside the clubhouse at Camp K.T. Wallace outside of Guyton as parents and scouts prepared for another year of scouting. There were 33 new cubs signed up at the last meeting. STC, USCB team for hospitality management programs transition

SAVANNAH - Officials from Savannah Technical College (STC) and the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) have inked an agreement allowing students who complete the diploma program in hotel, restaurant and tourism management at STC to transition directly into the bachelor's degree program in hospitality management at USCB.

SAVANNAH - Top officials from Liberty County and Savannah Technical College announced the arrival of commercial truck driving instruction for Liberty County. Schaffer selected to receive alumni scholarship

ATHENS - Jennifer Christine Schaffer has been selected to receive the East Georgia CAES Alumni Chapter Scholarship awarded by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences for the 2009-10 academic year. Each year the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences awards scholarships to students totaling more than $100,000.
