GMAT testing available at Ga. Southern in February

The Graduate Management Admissions Test will be offered at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro Feb. 2, 5 and 6. Testing will be conducted in the GMAT Mobile Testing Center, which will be located in the College of Business Administration lot on Forest Drive on the Georgia Southern campus.

Effingham County schools pre-k applications available Feb. 1

Pre-Kindergarten applications for the 2008-2009 school year will be available on Feb. 1. You may pick up an application from any of the schools, the Effingham County Board of Education Office (and on the Board's Web site: www.effinghamschools.com), Effingham County Health Department or from the Department of Family and Children Services in Springfield. Your child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2008, to be eligible for the Pre-K program as required by the Bright from the Start: Department of Early Care and Learning.

Clifton graduates from AASU

Paula Renee Clifton graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in early childhood with a concentration in media technology. Paula graduated with honors Magna Cum Laude and Kappa Delta Pi. The commencement ceremony was held Dec. 8 at the Alumni Arena in Savannah. Clifton and her family reside in Springfield.
