ECMS cheerleaders hold uniform drive for those in need

The Effingham County Middle School varsity/competition cheerleaders recently held a uniform drive to collect "gently used" uniforms. The uniforms were given to the school counselors to distribute as needed.

Showtime for the Rebel Regiment

The Effingham County High School Marching Rebel Regiment tuned up for a season of performances with a rehearsal Saturday evening at ECHS. The season of halftime shows begins Aug. 29 at Burke County as the Rebels travel to Waynesboro to take on the Bears, and the first home show of the season will be Sept. 12 against Liberty County.
