Two Effingham County teens are among more than 150 teens set to graduate from the National Guard sponsored Youth Challenge Academy at graduation ceremonies on June 21 at 3 p.m. at the Macon City Auditorium.
Ian Anderson was the recipient this year of the Citizens Bank of Effingham Scholarship Fund. This scholarship, in the amount of $1,000 was awarded to one student in the county who excelled academically and showed leadership qualities through their volunteer work in their community and church.
