ECHS teacher of the month
The Effingham County High School teacher of the month for February is Michelle Drayton. Drayton teaches Honors Economics, U.S. History and Sociology. She sponsors the Future Georgia Educators Club as well as Grad Bash. Students nominated Drayton because they feel she treats her students with respect, fairness, and kindness. In addition, students highlighted Drayton's constant positive attitude and her ability to make learning fun.
Wilcoxes earn honor from RES
The faculty and staff at Rincon Elementary School are pleased to announce their March "Parents of the Month." They are Shae and Jay Wilcox, parents of Justin Wilcox, who is a third grade student in Brenda Brown's class at RES. They are also the parents of Kayla, who is a student at Effingham County High School.
SEHS Fifth Annual Fashion Show
In its fifth year, the South Effingham High School Fashion Show was a different beast than in its previous installments, with 19 design teams and 35 garments raising the bar for local high fashion once again.
