Blandford recognizes first graduating class

On Tuesday, Blandford Elementary honored its first graduating class, the class of 2007. Blandford Elementary School, Effingham County's newest school opened its doors in August 2006. School district lines were redrawn and some students from Rincon Elementary and South Effingham Elementary joined to form Blandford Elementary. Three Effingham County Middle School students were recently accepted into Georgia Southern's Eagle Science Camp in Statesboro. ECHS YAC pitches in for FORCE

From Sept. 12-16 the ECHS Youth Advisory Council, along with the Interact Club and Family Connection Communities and Schools, sponsored an After Labor Day Food Drive benefitting the Food Outreach Co-op of Effingham (FORCE).
