Effingham students earn dean’s list honors at Georgia Southern University

Georgia Southern University students from Effingham County have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2009 term. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

STC winter enrollment jumps 18.8 percent

SAVANNAH – Official enrollment numbers for the start of the winter quarter 2010, show an increase of 18.8 percent in total credit enrollment from the same quarter last year, marking the second consecutive quarter that enrollment has topped 5,000 and the largest ever enrollment for winter quarter.

See You At The Pole

"Converge" was the 2011 See You at the Pole theme held Sept. 28. More than 70 students attended the event at South Effingham Middle School. Supported by students, friends, family, and staff members the SEMS SYATP Leadership Team hosted the event. The leadership committee provided free doughnuts and gave out See You at the Pole Bracelets provided by the SEMS Y-Club to all attendees.
