SSU granted degree programs

SAVANNAH - The University System of Georgia Board of Regents has approved three, new degree programs at Savannah State University - a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science with a concentration in Chemistry or Biology; a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Secondary Education; and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education.

Middle School redistricting recommendation

ECHS FBLA ‘dives in’ to school year

Back-to-school immunization clinics coming to Effingham

School books have been put away for now and children in Effingham County are enjoying the lazy days of summer. But the new school year is fast approaching and in preparation, Effingham County Health Department officials will extend clinic hours to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 26 so children can get the necessary back-to-school screenings and immunizations.
