Four local students recently were selected as recipients of Georgia-Pacific Foundation Employees' Children Scholarships. Katherine Cope, a graduate of South Effingham High School, Hayley Fritch of Southeast Bulloch High School, and Ashley Sanders and Gabrielle Usher, both graduates of Effingham County High School, all were recently honored during a recognition lunch hosted in their honor at the Savannah River Mill.

Meet the newest addition to the Effingham County 4-H program, the Cloverbud Clubhouse. The Cloverbud Clubhouse meets at the Effingham County Extension office on a monthly basis for an hour and a half, offering quality educational programming. Children who are homeschooled and are in first through third grades are invited to attend.
