SAVANNAH - Fifty-seven Savannah Technical College students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in a ceremony STC's Eckburg Auditorium. To qualify for Phi Theta Kappa membership, students must have completed a minimum of 12 degree-level semester credit hours and have a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

The Effingham County School System is now taking appointments for kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year. Appointments will be scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through May 9 at the school district's Central Registration Center.

SAVANNAH - Armstrong Atlantic State University recently announced dean's list honors for the spring 2014 semester. Armstrong's dean's list students earned a grade point average of 3.6 of higher for the semester.
