Mullis award

Kelsi Willis was the recipient of the Jack Mullis Award, which is presented to the top vocalist at Effingham County High School every year. This award is named after Jack Mullis, who is responsible for creating the choral program at Effingham County High School and Effingham County Middle School. Mullis spent nearly 30 years teaching choral music to Effingham County students.

Around 250 youth and adults will gather at the Crown Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta to compete with the best of the best at the 67th annual 4-H State Congress, and Effingham County's own Ben Snooks will be among them. State Congress is the crown jewel of Georgia 4-H's Project Achievement competitions.
