Into the future

Massive crowds packed both Rebel Field and The Corral as the classes of 2012 graduated Friday and Saturday nights. Just fewer than 400 Effingham County High School seniors celebrated their final act of high school Friday night and the South Effingham High School class exulted before sprinting to the mustang.

Top award for ECHS JROTC

Unit GA-938, the Air Force Junior ROTC at Effingham County High School, has been selected by the Air Force to receive the 2011-12 Air Force Junior ROTC Distinguished Unit Award (DUA) with Merit.
