Kindergarten registration under way

The Effingham County School System is now taking appointments for kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year. Appointments will be scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through May 9 at the school district's Central Registration Center.

South Effingham Middle School students Caitlyn Lariscy, Brian Nichols and Sarah Yonce attended the Georgia United Nations Assembly, a model United Nations program sponsored by the State YMCA of Georgia.
