Former Springfield resident Belle Williams marked her 91st birthday Saturday with a celebratory dinner at the King and Prince Beach Resort on St. Simons Island. Joining Mrs. Williams for the occasion were her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cheryl Williams of Blackshear; her daughter, Donna Wall, of Statham, and her granddaughter, Mandy Williams of Waycross. Mrs. Williams is a resident of Baptist Village in Waycross. She would love to hear from old friends back in Effingham County.
