Roberson joins United Way as Effingham assistant director

Elizabeth Roberson has recently joined United Way of the Coastal Empire as the Effingham assistant director.
Hailing from Springfield, Roberson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in Marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience in customer service both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors with skills ranging in supervision, fundraising and financial auditing. Her strong knowledge of Effingham County stems from her deep involvement in numerous community groups and nonprofit organizations, including the Two Rivers Health Clinic, Effingham Victim Witness, Effingham Family Connection and the Effingham Chamber, where she was distinguished as Ambassador of the Year in 2017. Elizabeth’s holds previous involvement with United Way through managing annual workplace campaigns and conducting financial literacy workshops with local nonprofit programs.
