China is currently reviewing plans for what would be the tallest and most eco-friendly building ever. The accompanying infographic shows how the city of Wuhan’s kilometer-high Phoenix Towers would stack up against some of the world’s other highest skyscrapers.

According to The Guardian, the building “could help purify the city’s polluted air and water.” With an estimated cost of more than $2 billion, the skyscraper would be an important symbol that the Chinese government is starting to try to combat pollution and climate change in a country that, according to The Motley Fool, has pollution levels that are astronomically higher than the World Health Organization's recommended levels.
