Valentine’s Day brought new meaning to the residents of the Effingham Hospital Care Center. Effingham County 4-H’ers participated in constructing Valentine cards, baking cookies and playing bingo with the center’s residents.

The Effingham 4-H program strongly supports community service projects for enhancing youth development, while instilling a sense that lives have meaning and purpose no matter the age. Participation by 4-H’ers within the community cultivates awareness, compassion and generosity.
