Three Effingham County High School students have received their certified nursing assistant (CNA) Certification. Yolidia Osbey, Ashlynn Fisher and
Amber Morgan passed the CNA test, which consists of a written and a skills portion. All three girls are enrolled in the Work-based Learning Program at ECHS.

Fisher is an employee at the Effingham Care Center and Osbey and Morgan are interns at Effingham County Hospital. A special thanks was given to the health care teachers and the Effingham County Hospital and Care Center employees for helping prepare these students for their future careers.

The Work-based Learning Program contributes to both the intellectual and career development of high school students by incorporating classroom instruction and a work-based learning component (structured work) with career development activities.
