Effingham County 4-H’ers recently made a trip to Atlanta to participate in Leadership Day, a time when leaders from all across the state come together to share ways they can improve leadership efforts in Georgia.

While working in the political arena, the 4-H’ers made time for some fun at Camp Fortson. The camp, situated on 77 acres in Clayton and Henry counties, is about 25 miles south of downtown Atlanta.

The 4-H’ers engaged in team-building activities while at the camp. They also enjoyed touring the farm, which included a pioneer site as well as a zip-line and climbing wall.
