Daniette Owens was crowned Miss South Effingham High School at the annual Miss SEHS pageant Saturday night.

Contestants competed in business wear, evening gown, talent and the five finalists answered an on-stage question.

Highest GPA was awarded to Morgan Johnson, most photogenic was Toni Linton, Miss Congeniality was Megan Ponton, Miss Freshman was Toni Linton, Miss Junior was Kimberly Knight and Miss Senior was Amanda Boyette. Meredith Lamb was the first runner-up and Morgan Johnson was the second runner-up.
