Shuman earns Ed.S.

Teshewanda B. Shuman of Pooler received an Education Specialist degree in teaching and learning from Georgia Southern University on May 9.   

Shuman also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Georgia and a Masters of Education and teaching certification from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Currently, she is an eighth grade language arts teacher at Ebenezer Middle School and recently obtained Master Teacher certification.  

She is the wife of Kyunnie Shuman and the daughter of John C. Stokes of Pineora and Rosetta Stokes of Pooler.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simuel Postell of Savannah and Ella Mae Johnson of Clyo.  She would like to extend her gratitude to her family and friends for their continued support and prayers.
