Students show off skills at Skills USA

Students from Effingham County and South Effingham high schools took part in the Skills USA regional competition. Ten students, five from each school, will advance to the state championships in Atlanta from March 17-19. - photo by Photo provided

On Jan. 27, Skills USA members from South Effingham High School and Effingham County High School competed at the regional competition. Five of the six members from ECHS placed first in their categories and five of the 10 members from SEHS placed first. 

All of the first and second place winners will represent their school in the Skills USA state championships in Atlanta on March 17-19.

Following is the list of Skills USA students from SEHS, their categories and how they ranked:
