The children of Gilbert and Frances (Ivey) Callaway of Rincon are proud to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents.

They were married on Friday, June 7, 1963, at 8 o’clock at the bride’s home in Port Wentworth. They have spent many years in Rincon raising their five children: Laura (Joe) Mesmer, Peggy (Craig) Sullivan, Cliff (Tash) Callaway, Kathi (David) Purvis, and the late Mark (Kaye) Callaway.

They have 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

They have persevered with each other through good and hard times, in which they give all the credit to their lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

“We are happy to call them our parents and celebrate this day with them with much joy. We thank you for all you have done, been and the contentious things you teach us. We love you, your children.”
