J.D. and Jackie Dyches are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 23, 1963 at El Bethel Baptist Church in Twin City.

J.D. is retired from International Paper (formerly Union Camp) after 41 years of service. Jackie is retired from Dr. David Bradley, optometrist, after 30 years of service.

They lived in Garden City before moving to Rincon in 1998. They are active members of the First Baptist Church in Garden City.

They are loving and devoted parents and grandparents. Their children are Jenny (Barry) Denney, Joan (David) Blissett, J.D. Jr. (Kim) Dyches and Janice (Jason) Weseloh. They have 11 grandchildren and seven great-children.
