One year ago, on May 6, 2006, Miss Jennifer Ann Malphrus wed Mr. Daniel Jason Jordan of Rincon. The ceremony was held at First Baptist Church of Rincon at 5 p.m. Officiating was Pastor Peter Vermeulen of the United Methodist Church of Meldrim. The ceremony was directed by Ms. Karen Davis. Soloist was Mrs. Julie Cope and pianist was Mrs. Linda Morgan.

Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin I. Malphrus of Ridgeland, S.C. She is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. Winfred Brown and the late Milicent Brown of Chesapeake, Va. and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. Hoover Malphus and Mrs. Myrtle Walker of Ridgeland, S.C. Her maid of honor was Ms. Alicia Ann Lynch of Ridgeland, S.C.

Jason is the son of Mr. Danny Jordan of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Crabb of Rincon. He is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. Henry Clyde Sherrod and the late Mrs. Susian Denese Sherrod, both of Rincon, and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. James V. Jordan and Mrs. Joanne Jordan of Brooklet. His best man was Mr. Danny Crabb of Rincon.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our friends and families for making our special day so very beautiful and memorable. Although it has been one year since our wedding day, it was an event that will grow into a lifetime and our memories will last forever.
