The children of Bill and Beverly Poole would like to announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Bill and Beverly were married on April 22, 1961, at Springfield United Methodist Church. Bill was a 1957 graduate of Savannah High School while Beverly was a 1960 graduate of Effingham County High School. After being joined in marriage, they moved to Garden City, where they resided for 38 years. They currently live in Pooler.

Bill is retired from Gulfstream Aerospace but currently works part time. Beverly is also retired but continues to work part time at Effingham County Museum and John Davis Florist. Their children are Derward and Suzanne Poole, Debra and Greg Lindblad and Christy and Gene Prescott. They also have four grandchildren, Aric and Kevin Lindblad and Tiffany and Ashley Poole. They are also members of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Bill and Beverly will celebrate with their family. They also will take a Caribbean cruise and a trip to Tampa in honor of this tremendous occasion.
