The Bible will “come to life” during two nights of Christmas productions at First Baptist Church of Rincon. A narrator in biblical costume will walk out of a giant Bible to tell the Christmas story, mixed with music and drama.
“The Living Word, the Prophecy” will be presented by the sanctuary choir, children’s choirs, orchestra and drama team on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The drama and music tells the stories of the Old Testament prophecies and birth of the Messiah. Pastor Bob Rogers will narrate and present dramatic monologue in costume as Isaiah the prophet.
“The Living Word, the Proclamation” will be presented by the sanctuary choir, senior adult and youth choirs, orchestra and drama team on Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. The drama and music tells the story of the wise men’s search for the newborn Messiah.
Rogers will narrate and present dramatic monologue in costume as one of the wise men.
